4th of July Party
Hello once again! This LO is the second page of a double from a 4th party several years ago. Once again, I need to find the date, but it's probably 8 years old. That toddler is my niece who just turned 10 years old. I used several scraps and mixed media along with a wooden butterfly embellishment.
This LO will be entered into the Sketches In Thyme challenge # 388. The sketch definitely inspired me but I changed it a bit...as I tend to do!

Sixteen
Hello my scrappy friends! Another LO I created a few weekends ago at a scrap retreat. This is my son, last year, during his family birthday party. Some good pictures of him, me and dad. that background paper was a little intimidating for me but I ran with it and I LOVE it!!! Some strips of pps, stickers and Nuvo drops and it was completed!
This LO will be entered into the Sketches In Thyme challenge #389.

Hello Winter
Hello again my scrappy friends! Another LO I made during a scrappy weekend retreat a few weeks ago. Used up so many scraps for this one but my pile of scraps never seems to lessen!!
I was inspired by the Bitten by the Bug 2 blog challenge: Grandparents. that baby is my now 17 year old son with his grandma (my mom) and his aunt (my sister). They were visiting my grandmother (his great-grandmother), those are her hands by my son sitting in the chair. Of course grandma didn't have a high chair, but she did have some pieces of a rubber tube that apparently worked just as well when he was eating!! He enjoyed something new and was fed without incident!!

Before the Party - Stick It Down
Hello again my scrappy friends! Here is a LO I created using the fabulous sketch from Stick It Down. It's a great two pager with several photo spots and the opportunity to use lots of pps and scraps. I added some mixed media, word stickers and some wooden stickers that I've had for years!!

Girly birthday card
Hello my scrappy friends! Quick post since I'll have a few other others today.
This card was made for my son's friend since there was a birthday 2 hours away from our house on Friday night. Glad it was close enough to my parent's house so my daughter and I had a place to hang for a few hours!
I used several scraps, some flowers that were laying on my desk and clear Nuvo drops to get this card made.
I'm entering this card into Stick It Down card challenge sketch challenge this month.
I'm also entering this into Shopping Our Stash challenge, #405 - Dream the Empossible Dream - using embossing!! I dry embossed the strip on the left side with the circles.

Just Laughin'
Hello my scrappy friends! So...my son turned 17 in August and received his driver's license 3 days ago!!! Today he took off in dad's car to work...ALL BY HIMSELF!!!! I got some pictures then I went to the computer to sign up for COLLEGE tours for him! I'm done! Too much too soon! OK, really not soon since he is 17 but a lot for just a few days!
To relive some baby days, here is a LO of said son just a few months old! Seems like a life time ago...I need to hugs my parents a lot more next time I see them!
I used the sketch from Sketches In Thyme, #387.
Festive Friday, #0042 - From the Inspo List, I used stripes, gold and wood.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Enjoy your weekend!

14th birthday "party"
Hello my scrappy friends!! Happy Back to School Week! My kids went back today, 10th and 11th grades. They should be home pretty soon and I'm eager to hear about all that happened!
Here is a LO I just completed for my son, the current 11th grader, where his sister (the 10th grader!) and their friend threw a little surprise birthday party for him...snack and confetti! The girls made microwave popcorn, found some gummy bears in the pantry and tore up colored paper for the confetti! Pretty smart and quick thinking on their party! It was a sweet gesture and he loved the little surprise!
I used various supplies from my stash including papers from Echo Park Happy Birthday collection, my Cricut for the "14" and stickers from my stash...very old stickers btw!
I'll be entering my LO into these challenges...check them out!
September Sketch Challenge & Scrappy Friend Challenge: Check out the LO sketch and photo inspiration challenges on their pages to join!! I love the sketch...so easy to use! The photo inspiration helped me with color choices...some blues and browns and oranges.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you get creative TODAY!!
