Oh Boy

Hello my scrappy friends!  It was a busy week doing things with the kids and having friends come to play.  This layout took me all week but that's least I'm home to spend summer days with my kids!  What better way to take pictures of them to scrap in the years to come?!?

This layout is of my son's 2nd birthday party, just before it started.  He is going to be 14 in less then two weeks.  Holy crap, how did that happen?  I've used Cricut Artbooking for the hexagons and cut up some paper for the title, using the Q as an O.  Hope it's not too obvious!  Distressing in the form of spray inks and inks pad rubbed on the corrugated cardboard.  Stamps from CTMH and Autumn Leaves were used.

This LO will be entered into the following blog challenges:

Sketches In Time - Sketch #210 - The first page of my LO used this sketch.  It is a great sketch that I'm sure I'll use in the future.
Sketches In Thyme

PaperCrafter's Corner - Challenge #154 - So many options to choose from in the inspiration piece!  I used blue and mustard colors, a young boy, the date in my journaling.  The image of the boy over the suitcase is so similar to that of my son I just had to scrap it!

Shopping Our Stash - #262 - A Stitch in Time - I used some faux stitching (little Xs) around a bit of my LO.
