Happy Pi Day!

Hello my scrappy friends!  Trying to get some painting completed in the house since deciding to not work full time anymore.  So happy the kids want me home in the summer!  Since I couldn't open the stupid paint can, I decided to clean the bathrooms, straighten up here and there, wash the never ending supply of dirty dishes and make some crafty things!

The only thing I made is a card for my brother-in-law's birthday which is Monday.  Not entirely thrilled with it, but I know he will appreciate it.  I always have such a hard time making masculine cards, doesn't help I'm not feeling 100% either.

I used my CTMH inks (pacifica, pear, creme brulee, sorbet and cranberry), The Crafters Workshop stencil (mini cubist) and SU! stamped sentiment, Happy Birthday, from sale-a-bration Perfect Pairings.
I'm entering this card into these challenges:
Always Playing with Paper - #64, A Colour Challenge
Connie Can Crop - #66, Anything Goes
Less Is More - #267, one layer sentiment

Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

  1. That's a rather fab stencil - I've not seen it before. I love the colour graduation you've achieved and the bold pop of colour on the sentiment against the background. I'm sure you B-I-L will appreciate this very much!

We do prefer to see a little more white space on our CAS cards but thank you for sharing this with us. I do hope you'll join us again next week.
