Awesome Summer Vacation

Good morning, or rather afternoon, my scrappy friends!  This morning has rushed past me doing 100 mph!  The kids and I are going to our "summer vacation home", aka, my aunt's house.  We are supposed to be leaving in one hour, forty minutes.  Both kids still need to pack their clothes for the week, shower, cleanup the lunch dishes and fold the towels...we'll need a few for the lake.  I have to get my clothes into a suit case, run to the library, pack some food and pay bills before we leave.  Here's hoping we get it all completed!

Anyway, onto my LO!  I found a new blog, new to me at least, called 123 Challenge Blog and this month I love the challenge!  The challenge is to use:

Colour: Brights
Word: Awesome
Technique: Arrows

I'm also submitting my LO into the Scrap Our Stash Challenge for this month, using 5 items from a shopping list.  The list includes several supplies that I can't seem to paste here, so go check out the list by clicking the blog name!  I used 3 of more stars, striped paper, 3 or more buttons, flags, and  die cuts.

Here is my layout:

I cut the arrows using my Cricut Expression, forget which cartridge though!  I also used my Cricut for the title..."awesome" is from Boys will be Boys and "summer vacation" is from All Mixed Up.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy this gorgeous summer day the Good Lord has given us!
