Proud of You card

Hello my scrappy friends! Today was the last day of school for my son in middle school!  He has successfully completely 7th grade with A's all year!  Although proud of himself, he is most excited to start summer!

Using my stash of patterned papers, inks from Tim Holtz, stamps from STAMPlorations Blossom Overture and SU! Swirly Scribble dies, I created this card for our son.

Happy Father's Day!

Hello my scrappy friends!  Real quick post today since it's Father's Day.  Need to wash and fold laundry (that's every Sunday), back a cake for hubby and buy some food for dinner.  He hasn't decided between pizza and Chinese food.

My card today is for my husband!  Just like my dad, hubby makes his own beer from time to time.  He trades local craft beers with other through out the country.  It's pretty cool trying beers from different areas.  This card sums up his love of beer, even if it looks like a Coors Light...which he doesn't like much!  I used SU! Mixed Drinks stamp set for the title and beer mug, Tim Holtz Stencils and random card stock for the patterned paper and black strip and mat.

Garden birthday card

Good Morning my scrappy friends!  One more week before my kids are out of school for summer vacation!  I think I worked my last time for this school year on Friday which is ok with me!  Sure I'd like another pay check but I'm going to enjoy this last week of quiet at home as much as I can!  Gotta get all of my scrappy things organized for a summer of crafting...I hope at least!

Here is a card I made using my Cricut cartridges Freshly Picked for the flowers and Plantin Schoolbook for the grass.  I inked the top layer of grass since the green was pretty bright and the stems of the flowers...it was the same bright paper!  My clouds and sun were made from a stencil, Clouds ARTplorations from STAMPlorations.
