Hello my scrappy friends! Another Monday in March...hope your weekend was a good one! I've been dealing with some sick people...my daughter and husband. He seems to be getting better, her not so much. Time will tell.
My layout is of my daughter drinking her first can, almost full, of soda. She was thrilled to be allowed to drink that much at seven years old. Now at thirteen, she doesn't drink too much soda and definitely not with caffeine in it!
This layout will be entered into the following challenges:
Rochelle Spears - Scrappy Friends Challenge - sketch (turned) and using graph paper (the photo mats, hard to see)
GrandDiva's Creative Corner - Challenge #3, summer using red and a sun.
Scrap Our Stash - March Golden Globe - happy or lucky theme and an emoji
Thanks for stopping by and commenting!!
Have a wonderful day~

Hello my scrappy friends! Quick post this morning as I'm behind in doing some chores since I had to pick up my daughter from school. Sore throat and headache once again. Whatever this virus is, it needs to leave her body. It's been lingering for one month! Happy no one else in our house is getting sick!
Here is a St. Patrick's Day card I made for my nieces. Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge was used for the leprechaun, CTMH Distressed Background Flair stamp for the background and the shamrock stamp from my stash.
I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Bitten By The Bug 2 - show us your shamrocks Not sure if this card counts since the shamrocks are stamped, but used my Bug for the leprechaun.
Stick It Down - card sketch
Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Have a fantastic Friday!!!!

Good morning my scrappy friends! I've been trying, once again, to get some more scrapping completed! Of course, it's the end of the month so if I want to submit to challenges, I've got to move fast. Here is another LO I completed just last night for Stuck?! Sketches, Feb 15th reveal.....
Quick and pretty easy layout using all scraps...even the background papers!! They are ATG'd together and the slim blue pps on the sides, cut down to make the entire layout 12x12. I'm impressed with my little surgery!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

Good morning my scrappy friends! Today brings you a LO I completed a few days ago and forgot to post!
This is my son three years ago walking to the bus stop in the rain. It was the type of rain that poured, then drizzled, then poured again all in a 2 minute span...hence him smiling! He was trying to figure out when to walk to the corner, then wait for the bus and not get drenched!
I used STAMPlorations stamps for the coffee stains circles and banner under the portrait photo. SU! stamps were used also for the large coffee stains and hearts under the banner.
I'm submitting my LO into the challenge at Scrap Our Stash - Golden Globe Inspired Stash Challenge. We are to be inspired by the movie poster of "Love Actually" and used twine and the word love in your title. I was inspired by the columns of photos.
Take a look at the challenge, you have a couple more days to submit your layout!
Have a fantastic day!!!

Hello my scrappy friends! Busy and sickly month, the pediatricians office received a whole lot of money from us this month! However, I think the kids are on the mend, hubby seems to be doing better and of course, I'm fine! I hardly ever get sick, thank God!
I was digging through my printed pictures and came across these two of our son! Nowadays, he sits on the couch to play video games!
I'll be entering this LO into the Sketch In Thyme #312 challenge. It's a sketch challenge, great for one or two photos and some embellies to the sides!
Thanks for commenting!

Hello my scrappy friends! Snowing here today in NJ, at least its a wet snow so far so not much accumulation. Praying it doesn't get too cold to turn to icy roads!
Quick card post this afternoon. My niece's 5th birthday is next Tuesday and I actually mailed the card out this morning! I'll have to make another card for her party later in the month so she can open it along with her gifts.
I used my Cricut cartridge Create A Critter for the penguin and igloo...how cute! The background stamp is called Marbled from Stampin' Up! as is the little For You stamp, also using SU! round array 7/8" punch. Not sure if the little stamp and punch are still available.
This card will be entered into the Stick It Down January Card Sketch.
Thanks for taking a look and enter your card into this challenge....it ends tomorrow, 1/31/18!

Hello my scrappy friends! My grandma died almost two weeks ago, funeral services were last week. A co-worker sent me a beautiful basket of flowers and sent sent me texts and emails....checking on me and some making me laugh. So, I had to make a thank you card.
Being inspired by a sketch challenge post by Try Stampin' -or not- On Tuesday, I created this card. I used SU! ink colors, lemon lime twist, fresh fig, sweet sugar plum, blushing bride, and basic gray. The stamps are SU! as well, delicate details and beautiful bouquet.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
