Hello again my scrappy friends! I was able to make some more cards late last night and this morning for my husband and children.
This card was from a sketch challenge from Scrapbook.com. I made it for my daughter. All of the papers have a purple hue to them not brown and blue like I'm seeing on the blog. I used Cricut Art Philosophy and Don Juan cartridges for the decorative circle and hearts. The stamped sentiment and flowers are from Stampin Up! set called "What I Love" from the current Sale-A-Bration sale.
This card is going to be entered into Fun Cuts: "L" is for Love challenge and also into Jen's Fun Cuts: Alphabet Challenge. I've already entered into the first challenge (L is for Love) but i just wanted to share another card!
Thanks for looking and commenting~

Celebrating Love
Happy Weekend my scrappy friends! It is cold, cold, cold here in NJ so I'm staying inside for some crafting fun! Unfortunately some laundry and cooking need to be done as well, but those can wait till the afternoon!
I've made a few cards for my nieces for St. Valentine's Day and an anniversary card for my parents...45 years! All 3 cards are being entered into various challenges since everyone is having some type of love or heart challenge! So here we go....
This card is for my 3 year old niece. I used scraps from my stash and the stamp and hearts are CTMH. The inks are Colorbox that I received for Christmas. Love those little inks! This card is being entered into the following challenges:
Get Creative Challenges - must use hearts
Always Playing with Paper - sketch challenge
Fun Cuts: L is for Love - using anything for LOVE
OneCrazyStamper - anything goes
STAMPlorations - theme & sketch (3 of anything (hearts); inspired by the sketch)
STAMPlorations - CASEplorations February
This card is for my 6 year old niece. Again, I used scraps, Prima flowers from my stash and the CTMH heart punch. Again, those little inks from Colorbox! This card is being entered into the following challenges:
Scrap Much? - color challenge
Sketch~N~Scrap - sketch #67
Off the Rails Scrapbooking - Feb. 1 challenge
This card is for my parents anniversary. The hearts are from Cricut Don Juan cartridge. The fibers and stamp are from stash...I can't remember who made them. This card is being entered into the following challenges:
Crafty Gals Corner - use a heart
OneCrazyStamper - anything goes
Bitten by the Bug - sweet valentine
AAA cards, #57 - theme of love
Whew! That's a lot a challenges for this post of 3 cards! I need to make 3 more...for hubby and 2 kids for tomorrow to add with their box of candy! Wishing all of you a Happy St. Valentine's day with your loved ones.

Love the Snow!
Hello my scrappy friends! Finally completed a LO I started almost 2 weeks ago I think! Between work, sickness and every day life....well, you how it is! I'm just glad this two pager is done and I can move on to other things!
These photos were from last year's snow storm...one of them anyway! My kids love playing on the swing set, winter or summer! I used Cricut Don Juan cartridge for the title and heart, various patterned papers for embellishments and inks for the edges of said patterned papers.
I'm entering this LO into the Scrappy Friends Challenges!
GrandDivas's Creative Corner - sketch - I used the entire two pager!
Creating with Paper and More - Kelly's Mood Board - I used the snow as inspiration for my photos.
Rochelle Spears - Rochelle's This or That - Ribbon or Twine - I used purple twine on the journal tags.
And another challenge site:
Cut It Up #88 - Love is in the Air, include a heart - My heart is part of the title!
Thanks for stopping by and commenting~
Have a wonderful week!

Snowed in!
Hello my scrappy friends! We just got the calls....no school tomorrow! The kids' faces were perfect...so happy! I'm pretty happy too...I'm going to get some chores done first thing and scrap the rest of the day! Hubby has been very sick for the last week so I'm taking my snow day to finally do nothing.....or as close to nothing as possible!
Here is a card I made last week for a friend of my daughter's. There are several blogs where I'm entering this card and will list the links at the end of this post. I used several inks from Tim Holtz and Stampin Up, the splatters are a stamp from CTMH, the dot looking stamp is from Stamplorations, various patterned papers from my stash and the cute kitty is from Cricut's Create-A-Critter cartridge.
The blogs were I'm entering this card....

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016!
WOW! 2016....I never imagined, did you?!? I was convinced, by whom I don't know, that the world was going to end in 2000. So glad that it didn't although hanging with Jesus in heaven I'm sure will be very cool, for lack of a better word!
Anyway, a quick post as we are leaving for a party that is just 10 minutes away with some college friends and their families! I haven't scrapped in months but I like what I've created!
My inspiration came from Soul Scrappers challenge blog. You are to use the lyrics or title or a few words from Guns & Roses song "Sweet Child O' Mine"...a favorite of mine back in the day (wow that made me sound old!). My title "her face" are words from the song.
And the song lyrics:

GUNS N' ROSES LYRICS
"Sweet Child O' Mine"
She's got a smile that it seems to me
Reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything
Was as fresh as the bright blue sky
Now and then when I see her face
She takes me away to that special place
And if I stared too long
I'd probably break down and cry
Sweet child o' mine
Sweet love of mine
She's got eyes of the bluest skies
As if they thought of rain
I'd hate to look into those eyes
And see an ounce of pain
Her hair reminds me of a warm safe place
Where as a child I'd hide
And pray for the thunder and the rain
To quietly pass me by
[3x]
Sweet child o' mine
Sweet love of mine
[4x]
Where do we go?
Where do we go now?
Where do we go?
Sweet child o' mine
Reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything
Was as fresh as the bright blue sky
Now and then when I see her face
She takes me away to that special place
And if I stared too long
I'd probably break down and cry
Sweet child o' mine
Sweet love of mine
She's got eyes of the bluest skies
As if they thought of rain
I'd hate to look into those eyes
And see an ounce of pain
Her hair reminds me of a warm safe place
Where as a child I'd hide
And pray for the thunder and the rain
To quietly pass me by
[3x]
Sweet child o' mine
Sweet love of mine
[4x]
Where do we go?
Where do we go now?
Where do we go?
Sweet child o' mine
Thanks for stopping by!! Be safe with family and friends as you bring in the new year. Wishing you God's blessings in 2016!

Merry Christmas!!
Hello my scrappy friends! My goodness, I haven't posted in a long time. I haven't created anything in a while except for some Christmas cards. My poor grandma who just turned 97 this past Wednesday didn't even get a birthday card! Shame on me! I miss creating but I've been working a full time job and it's just kicking my butt. It may be coming to an end soon...I'm not sure if it should or not. It's a heavy decision that has been weighing on me and soon I need to make a decision. When I'm not working or wrapping Christmas gifts, I'm praying for guidance!
Ok, enough of my problems! Here is an example of the Christmas cards I sent out this year. I'm entering this into the blog Fun Cut Creations by Jen. Her challenge for the month of December is to use the theme of Christmas using Stampin' Up products! I used the stamp/thinlet set from SU! called Wondrous Wreath. It appeared in the catalog last year and I'm just using it this year...it was difficult for me to line up the stamps and thinlets. Not sure why!
A pretty simple card, love the stamped sentiment from CTMH set Glory to God that I've had for a few years.
Thanks for stopping by! This challenge from Fun Cut Creations by Jen runs until the end of the month. Give it a try!
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Thank you for taking some time out of your day to take a peek at my creations.

Easy Sunday afternoon
Hello my scrappy friends! Just a quick post today. Laundry is being washed, I'm scrapping, hubby is watching TV, son is playing video games and daughter is visiting all of us in between cleaning her room. A nice easy Sunday afternoon!
My daughter is going to a party tomorrow night for her girlfriend's 11th birthday. I made a quick card with stamping and heat embossing.
Although this card is for a girl she's not a girly girl, hence the darker colors. I was inspired by the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers blog, challenge #34, Steampunk. The stamps I used are called Steampunk Gears by Stampendous. The circle stamps on the green banner are from CTMH. The colors are inspired by Scrapping Everyday Miracles Birthday Bash Challenge #5 Color Inspiration. The colors are black, white, blue, green, and brown. Lastly, I love using layers and although there aren't too many on this card, I was inspired by Turtle Soup's challenge from 9/15, Tools, Tips and Techniques.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving comments!
Enjoy your Sunday~
