Smile

Hello once again my scrappy friends!  Tonight I'm sharing a card I made for a friend for two reasons...one -  her son has been sick and I wanted to cheer her up, knowing that she is in my thoughts and prayers and two - I wanted to use my new stamp set from STAMPlorations!

My friend has received this card.  She was happy and did in fact smile!  I'm sure her son feeling better helped her smile as well!
I'm entering this card into a few challenges:

BINGO!

Hello my scrappy friends!  We held a family birthday party for our daughter yesterday.  She received some gifts that she really wanted, mostly clothes and a gift card for Outback Steakhouse, we ate lots of tasty food, both healthy and not so healthy, and we saw some family members we haven't seen in a while.  It was a great day and today the house is already clean!! Bonus for me!

I was able to get a layout completed in between laundry loads and kids playing video games right next to me!  At least they are now outside enjoying some non rainy weather for a change!  This layout is from 2014, a bingo night the local school holds every year.  It looks like we won since there are some snacks on the table in the picture of my kids.  Honestly, I don't remember if we really won something but I'm pretty sure we did since I know I didn't bring those Oreo cookies!

I used paper from Sassafras and lily bee design.  The stencils are from Tim Holtz and The Crafter's Workshop.  This layout is being entered into the following challenges:
Sketch-N-Scrap, Flashback Friday #2
Hiding in My Craft Room #250 Super Scraps Saturday
Scrap Much Sketch-y Friday - 5/6

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a fantastic week!

Happy May!

Hello my scrappy friends!  I hope you all had a chance to scrap this past Saturday for National Scrapbooking Day!  I did some creating not as much as I wanted since it was my daughter's 12th birthday!  Party is this coming weekend.

Here is a LO I created for my son's album.  He and his sister are making ice cream while at my sister's house a few years ago...it might have been 4th of July or just a summer day, I just can't remember :(

Anyway, I'm entering this into the challenges at The ScrapRoom using challenge sketch #3 and Scrap Our Stash using supplies starting with the letters of STASH using this from the blog: PRE-SELECTED STASH LIST:
