Anniversary Card

Hello once again scrappy friends!  On a bit of a roll today...another card completed!  This one is for my parents 43rd wedding anniversary!  I'm so happy, and blessed, to have parents who are still married.  It's a shame others aren't together for as long as we all wish on our wedding days.

This card was made using scraps from my stash and miscellaneous stamps.  I used the circle edge punch as a symbol of the wedding rings (that my parents no long wear!) where two become one.  This card will be entered into the following challenges:

> Sketches4All, Stacy's February Card Challenge
> Cut It Up, Challenge #38
> Colorful Creations, It's All About Love
> My Scraps & More Proboards, Love Card Crop Challenge

Thanks for stopping by!

1st Birthday celebration card

Hello my scrappy friends!  Hope you are enjoying your weekend.  We are inside once again even though the temps are rising a bit.  It is, however, doing something out there.  A combination of rain, ice, snow...just yucky!  Fine with me..I'm getting ready to scrap something, anything!    The boy is watching TV and playing on his kindle, the girl is cleaning her room (she's not happy), and hubby is watching a different TV so I can have some quiet time...I hope!

But first, my nieces 1st birthday card!  I was looking at all of my Cricut carts, looking for one that would have something appropriate for a 1 year old and a cart that I haven't used in a while.  My eyes ended up on Simply Charmed...hmmm, haven't use that one in a while.  Perfect!  Great cuts for kids or fun times and a few challenges to boot!

How cute it this card?!?  My niece is too young to appreciate it but I know she will love it when she is older.  All paper was from my leftover from other projects stash and the ribbon has unknown beginnings...perhaps I won it?  I really couldn't tell you!  I'm entering this card into the following:

> Pumpkin Spice, Challenge #59 Candy or Sweets
> Scrapbook.com, Let's Laugh Challenge
> SketchesForYou, February Color Challenge
> CafeMom, A Scrappy Patch Card Sketch Challenge

Take a look at these fantastic blogs and group for you chance to enter!  Thanks for visiting today~

St. Valentine's Day card

Hello Scrappy Friends!  Another snow day here in NJ!  We aren't complaining!  The kids get to play most of the day and I get to craft.  Poor hubby though...always on conference calls but at least he doesn't need to drive into work!

I made a Valentine Card for my daughter but she saw it and suggested I give it to my son!  Not sure about that one...perhaps too much pink for him!  I'll give it to someone...maybe not this year though~

I just used scraps of white and black cardstock for this card.  The doily stamps are from Martha Stewart.  I've had them in my stash for about a year so I figured it was time to take them out!

This card will be entered into the following challenge:

> Pumpkin Spice, Challenge #58 - Hearts

Thanks for stopping by~

Time for Coffee!

Good morning my scrappy friends!  Happy Groundhog Day ~ did we expect the groundhog to not predict more winter, really? and Happy SuperBowl Day!  Is that real?  For some die hard football fans I'm sure it is a major holiday.  Not huge fans here, but we are going to my sister's yearly SuperBowl party this afternoon.  We haven't been there in years, hate taking the kids out of school for something so trivial but since they are doing so well in school, we are making an exception this year!  To bad we can't sleep over my sister's house as planned...more snow coming tomorrow morning :(

Anyway, since it will be a late night, I feel the need for lots of coffee today!  And that brings me to a fantastic challenge at Red Carpet Studio using the equally fantastic movie as the theme, The Breakfast Club.  Using this theme of breakfast, I chose to make a birthday card for a friend at church.  She runs a breakfast bible study for ladies at the local diner and of course, we always order lots of coffee!

I used my new stamps (that I bought from HSN last year!) by Inspired Inc. Simply Iconic Stamp Kit.  I obviously used the coffee cup with straw and  steam, along with the coffee beans laying to the side.

Thanks for visiting ~ GO BRONCOS!!!
